Join the Insight Team
Before becoming a member of the Insight Team and having full access to post your articles on Letter From Silent Heaven it is
important that we get to know you and your writing habits. This is done to make sure only mature, responsible writers are populating
the site with articles. Foremost, read the bullet list illustrated below. Does your writing and choice-of-subjects follow
these guidelines?
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of Silent Hill 2.
- Provides well-rounded arguments along with sources, where applicable.
- Analyzes "mature" and "serious" subjects/debates about the game. (e.g. NOT "Why I believe Eddie's shirt has stripes.")
- Written in a professional, clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of the written English language.
Remember, your article(s) will ultimately be published on a live, public site so it is important that you present yourself
in a respectable manner by publishing respectable compositions. Letter From Silent Heaven does not take bias towards certain
"serious" topics over others--you are free to write any theories/analysis you want so long as it pertains to Silent Hill 2 and
follows the guidelines mentioned above.
If you agree to the points listed above send a message below with a draft of any one (1) article you have written. Your article
can be a work in progress or the final product. We are not interested in the subject of the article (although it
must relate to Silent Hill 2) nor the spelling errors (if it is still a rough draft that needs cleaning up) but instead are
reviewing the level-of-quality of how the article is presented in terms of narration and content.
Please be patient as we review your article for consideration. If your article passes you will be contacted through the e-mail
address you submitted with a temporary password to the login information you provided (you can change this password to whatever you
want after you login). You may then add/edit/delete any of
your own articles as you please. If the article you submitted for review does not meet a level-of-quality we are looking for we will try and get back
with you informing you of this. This is why we have potential members e-mail us first: As it's important to "gauge" a person
ahead of time to make sure they use the Insight publishing system responsibly.
Any composition you submit will be populated on the
Insight's index page along with a
front page announcement letting visitor's know
you have submitted a new article to the site.
Finally, please read the bullet list below. You must also agree to these terms before submitting an article for review:
- Letter From Silent Heaven has the right to edit or delete any article due to inappropriate/irrelevant content or
other reasons, with or without notice.
- Letter From Silent Heaven has the right to remove a member from the Insight Team due to abusing the publishing system or
other reasons, with or without notice.
